1 Shooting Star on Sat Jan 28, 2012 3:26 pm

---Midnight
San Francisco – Westfield [City Center]

"I’ll run through this world;”
“This world of cradling winds and sparkling lights!"

“Auntie Chiasa...is going to kill me!”

The figure that stood tall thought this. Big round blue irises had been wide open as if in astonishment; endless as the gaze that went over to the San Francisco city center. There was an alignment of nearby popular stores and hotels, and every light had reached up to the heavens as if they tried to compete with the stars above. There was a town center along with a nearby clothing department store, the sound of light traffic that streamed through, and not to mention the off distance that beckoned the figure with more temptation of one of the popular marvels that was the Golden Gate Bridge. Sites and scenery lay before him that he could only dream or hear about from local television stations, news reporters, and brochures. However, even with all this sprawled before him, he could only think of one thing:

“...Auntie Chiasa...is going to throttle me!”

That was just the attitude of Xenneth Hikari, the young “perfect” child when it came to living in his household. Cook a light breakfast for him and his younger sibling, say a prayer before you ate, and then clean up the table before heading off to school. Finish with the lectures, go home, do your homework, and then clean up the house, brush your teeth, and then take light showers before finally going to bed. However, his routine was broken the moment he slipped back on the pair of high-powered skates on his feet, and the large towering building that was San Francisco’s Marriott was not his bed as he kneeled down on all fours and crawled to the edge. An updraft of a gentle breeze and ruffled his clothing as he looked down upon the parade of lights below. Little fear in his heart to know he flew so high, but above all else, one fear lingered still...

“...Auntie Chiasa...will hit me with a shovel and then use it to bury me!”

He breathed...in and out...in...and out. To be the good boy was very overdo at this point.

His violet shimmering hair had blew, and ruffled, like feathers from the high altitude. His heart was still racing, but with excitement instead of fear. He had moved so agile and quick, that he filled that fantasy of being in one of those “ninja” stories he would read about in his love novels. The scenery to him made his heart flutter, a romanticist at heart, he overlooked the details of Storm Riding and thought of himself as that fantasy child from that book flying to a mythical land far away. You know, like the one that played with dust, sprinkled it like little children, and then flew out the window expecting to be back in bed before dawn?

“Oh!” his voice piped, “That’s right! I should look around and then get home quick before dawn. I need to get Rosetta’s breakfast ready when I get up, get ready to work, get ready for order to deliver after and...and...” the violet haired boy paused as his chin dropped to his hand that stroked it.

“...and...” just thinking about the routine tired him out at that instant. “...and I’ll just ride around a little more. That’s all.”

Xenneth thought of it no more. It was bothersome just remembering his routine. Instead, as he had stood on his feet, closed his eyes, and applied pressure to his skates, he came to the edge with the front wheel going over, and the back on the concrete ledge. With a little of his body weight going forward, he dropped and the skates had begun to rev with a loud cry as he dropped in altitude. It was easy for Xenneth to quickly catch himself as he shifted his body weight. A sound toss of his hips and a sweep of his leg like a rhythmic dance had spun him around, and his Air Trek had begun to rev up with the building slowed his descent. He kept swaying, going in circular motions of figure eight as he came down the building in constant whirl that went through the night,.

High tone, low tone, high, low, high, low...all of it giving grace as it let him descend with no worry in his head, but a funneling wind in his ears as he gotten part way down the building. His level was as low as the other miniscule skyscrapers compared to the one he was on, and when he reached that level, he kicked off quickly as Xenneth sent himself soaring to the next rooftop, his shoes alit brightly making him seem like a shooting star in the sky.

“Yeayuuuuuu!” the boys cry excitement like a joyful song with his soft vocals. His air trek traded note for note as the tone became high upon his landing. He breezed through the city’s skyscrapers leaping from rooftop to rooftop like a concrete jungle and he was nothing but a simian to the surrounding. Not even thinking about how his skating was almost like instinct because of his “embarrassing” profession, he had sped through the city dropping and ascending to melodies of song enjoying the scenery of speeding lights and whirling colors all around.

He just hoped for his sake...that Auntie Chiasa would not find out.

"Then I’ll be like the stardust."

Aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know it so it goes on flying anyway

Luna yawned loudly as she walked down the streets of San Francisco. Her blonde hair swayed behind her and trailed down to her buttocks. She carried a blue hobo bag on her right shoulder. The sky was rather clear for a night in the city, she could see a few stars! Living in the city had some pluses and minuses after all. Sometimes it was hard to see the sky through the smog. Riders could feel claustophobic if they stayed here, Luna was a lucky soul who knew that if you were to get on some of the sky scrapers that you could see and feel the sky better. She was a smart little bird when she wanted to be.

The woman was enjoying the night air, it was rather warm in California. She could have stripped naked and felt perfectly fine if she liked, even if it were night time. She'd had a long ride that day. Luna had found a nice place to ride just down by the beach. It was an old boat graveyard. She'd gained some more skill in jumping when she jumped from boat to boat earlier in the day. It was a good place to train, albeit a little boring. The girl wanted to find something entertaining or interesting. Unfortunately there seemed to be nothing out of the ordinary tonight.

The woman looked up at the sky, rather, at a shooting star that crossed past the two sky scrapers she was wedged between. Wait was that? ... it looked, like a girl flying across the two sky scrapers. Her AT's must have glinted in the lights of the city and gave the illusion it was a shooting star!

Luna didn't see much of the girl, other than that she was wearing AT's, had long violet hair, and had a small girlish figure. Luna smirked and took her own AT's out of her hobo bag. She then put the blades on her feet and began to hop back and forth on the walls of the two buildings to reach the top. The buildings were only fifteen feet away, perfect to jump back and forth from.

Once Luna made it to the top she saw the other rider a few buildings away. Luckily Luna's forte was speed. Catching up to this person would be a little easy, though Luna wasn't the best with jumping. The only way she'd be able to catch up is to use her speed on the tops of the buildings and be careful when she jumped between them.

The blonde began chasing after the person, it took at least fifteen minutes of chasing before she closed the distance halfway, luckily she had time on her hands. When the girl was close enough to hear her luna yelled out to her, "You there!" If the rider turned to look behind her Luna would rush up towards her and stop right next to her on the next rooftop.

"I’ll run through this world;”
“This world of cradling winds and sparkling lights!"

“It’s...almost a little scary...”

This was more different than he imagined when it came to his day to day life. More than a few couple of strolling carts, fire hydrants, and grinding rails. This was an experience more than a couple of steps, the average adult in his path, and the gentle breeze of a wind. This was a few trails of mist and light smog that polluted the San Francisco air, a few skyscrapers that varied in size. This was a flock of pigeons that one had to be literally be careful of scaring as he strode past them. He certainly did not want a reason to take another shower that night after all. Regardless, the sense of riding on the high powered skates was nostalgia but yet, a whole another as far as the world went. He barely remembered this feeling.

Xenneth caught his breath at the next landing, and his stride had come to a slow. The size of the building was fairly large and even had one of those glass domes that let the sunrays go inside. He could see faint traces of the night shift as he strode past slowly. It was funny how the town had its share of night owls, but he could not be one to talk. By now, he was all, but one, considering he had not turned his neck to see just who was tailing him. The violet haired boy was dim to no end as he begun to build up speed readying him to jump the distance to the next roof top. He could see the faint light that trailed from below and was unsure if there was anything below.

"You there!"

“Uh oh...!” he had chirped lowly hearing a cry.

Was that on the streets? No way! He was too high! From the sky? He doubted there was a descending angel, and right now, he could use one seeing he was about to pray that someone did not catch him. He did not associate with other Storm Riders since he was still fairly new at this and he had some doubt in the heart that the tone sounded nice. There was only one possible answer that could come to mind as his lips wrinkled into a frown and his legs started to move by an instinct of terror.

“Police? Authorities? Auntie Chiasa’s boots?!”

Xenneth cringed at terror thinking he already had been caught like the first night he tried this. It was De’javu all over again! Auntie Chiasa’s large boots were legendary when it came to her work in Interpol. She was a nice woman and often she had joked that she had kicked five people, five times, all at the exact same time in a split second. Sure, that story sounded remotely impossible, but seeing her large feet, he did not want to want to find out considering he was too fragile for a kick. He just sped to the edge and readied himself to jump, but he had a sudden epiphany that made him stop, his Air Trek sliding to the point that the friction could have scorched the rocks to make lava with how hard he stopped and he looked over the edge with a cringe.

“That building below is awfully low...”

To jump was a fool’s bet, and a wall ride was a little too much strain in a panic. He stopped, turned and decided to see what would become of him, staring into the light mist as if he waited for a monster to emerge. Already he could see a female figure and assume the worst; another personal visit from Auntie Chiasa who found him out. He could picture her now: long flowing jacket, Chinese style bun of hair, and large breasts that were a size...D?

No, this was wrong. Xenneth had to add this formula up in his head again, and he did so with a slight turn of his head and his eyes opened in sure shock to know that his luck was not bad...entirely. This figure was rushing towards Xenneth and did not seem to be a woman with a Chinese hair style with a hint of rage on her face. She did not have a jacket, but rather some long flowing hair that he mistaken in the shadow of the night. Her curves were different; her style had a theme that thrived of more youth than his auntie who was dignified although she seemed like a hipster, and not to mention the quality that threw the two off in a milestone comparison: the size of her breasts. If anyone knew about having his head pressed between any set of breasts, it would be the cute feathery, violet haired boy who would be at the mercy of a chest when a girl would thrust his head between them.

The boy had such an experience with this, he knew breast size measurements to their exact point whenever this happened.

“Uh...” his eyes had went from the bottom of the first wheel that was on the young woman’s Air Trek to the last hair that mounted her head. His insecurity around the opposite sex, once again, reared his head as his cheeks flushed a red as if someone had slapped him with a paint brush with the rosy shade of color. The heart shaped tattoo on his right cheek had almost wrinkled as if to express his heart twisted as much as his tongue. A woman’s body was the start of beauty for him, and the personality was the half-way point, and the heart was what the deciding factor when it came to love...according to his love novels that is. Once again, he was a sucker for the opposite sex.

“Uh...I mean...” His voice trailed as he crossed his arms and turned a cheek to the young woman, “Ba-Bayu! D-d-did you call me?” the young boy asked unsure how he should feel right now.

Should he be scared in terror because this was a storm rider possibly that had malicious intent or should he be scared and in terror that this was a woman with a malicious intent?

"Then I’ll be like the stardust."

Aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know it so it goes on flying anyway

Luna watched as the girl seemed quite uncertain. What was she fifteen? Sixteen? She was such a cutie! She seemed like the shy type once she turned around and blushed. Luna just wanted to grab her and give her a breast glomp. The girl was just adorable! Luna would control herself for now.

“Ba-Bayu! D-d-did you call me?” She had the sweetest little voice, even if it had a little boyish hint. Luna glided closer to her and then stopped a few feet in front of her.

"Yeah I did! I just wanted to say hi! It's been a while since I've seen another storm rider, especially a girl at that! You glided over the rooftops like some kind of bird, you really must have some skill to be able to do that. I'm pretty shaky when I do my own jumps."

Luna sure did talk a lot but the younger girl didn't seem to be that much of a talker, she seemed shy by the way she stuttered a bit. "Oh, I forgot to mention my name! I'm Luna, what about you? Do you live around here? I mean, it would be nice to know another girl rider lives near me. It would be fun to ride with you."

The woman didn't mind company when she rode. She often had Rohas ride with her even though he was much better than herself. He'd always show her up even if it wasn't on purpose. It was kind of a pain. She'd like hanging with a girl who didn't show her up constantly. Luna waited for the younger girl to reply to her questions. She decided it would be awkward if she kept chattering on like this.

"Yeah I did! The young woman begun, and showed no signs of stopping, ”I just wanted to say hi! It's been a while since I've seen another storm rider, especially a girl at that! You glided over the rooftops like some kind of bird, you really must have some skill to be able to do that. I'm pretty shaky when I do my own jumps."

Xenneth’s cheeks went from a painted glow to a full on explosion of red. At this point, it was hard to differentiate between the Heart-Shaped tattoo on his right cheek. His left foot stepped back, only to make a slight slip as he had to flail out his arms and regain his composure. It was scary! Someone praising him for doing something for once other than delivering some flowers and a box of chocolates from a flower shop was like an utter surprise. The recognition was like a bite of sweetness!

“N-n-no...” Xenneth stuttered trying to explain himself, “...I-I’m not good at all. I-I’m a beginner and I’m not a Storm-” Xenneth paused as something else crossed his mind more important than being referred to as a Storm Rider. It was something much more important, indeed!

“D-did...did she refer to me as a girl?”

In Japan, Xenneth’s figure and feminine charm was just plain legendary by now. Even after years, oblivious to his knowledge, he could paint a pretty picture of people looking to the back of the class and still thinking there was a cute girl they did not get to know that was suddenly gone. He had been mistaken for a girl so many times, that he was literally the “trap” that students feared of flirting with one day and becoming the next target for the charm. For girls, it seemed to be very much the same as they confided and suddenly thought the violet haired boy was a girl they could ease themselves about seeing. The most terrible part was that he hated to deceive any young woman about his true agenda and wanted to correct them as soon as possible, like now.

"Oh, I forgot to mention my name! I'm Luna, what about you? Do you live around here? I mean, it would be nice to know another girl rider lives near me. It would be fun to ride with you."

She was constantly throwing out the questions. He had to work it in somehow...

“B-Bayu Luna,” he had spoken formally as his stuttering become less, “My name is Xenneth Hikari. I live a little ways from here, Haight-Ashbury Neighborhood, you know, The Summer of Love, yeayu?” he had noted sweetly even though the social movement was anything but “pretty.” He could have cringed and rolled his eyes that moment he mentioned it, but simply breathed a small pipe of frustration from his breath. How loathsome he had to make a note of an insult towards him, especially since people would comment on him being a hippy when he was just an Asian boy who had an interest in white clothes and bright colors.

“A-anyway...” he had begun to speak once more, sweeping the topic along as he tried not to think about his blunder.

"Then I’ll be like the stardust."

The woman blinked as the younger girl stepped back in surprise. Did she say something wrong? “...I-I’m not good at all. I-I’m a beginner and I’m not a Storm-” Luna tilted her head at this. She really WAS shy. If she was a beginner then how could she do all that? She was probably C rank or close to that rank.

“My name is Xenneth Hikari. I live a little ways from here, Haight-Ashbury Neighborhood, you know, The Summer of Love, yeayu?” That was a nice neighborhood, that was quite popular in movies. Luna nodded at this. Xenneth was quite a name as well. It rolled off the tongue as she said it out loud. Hikari was a japanese name. Was she japanese? The blue hair kind of threw Luna off a bit.

Now upon closer inspection she did look Japanese. Luna smiled a sweet smile at the girl but that smile quickly turned into a frown when police sirens went off a block away. "Oh shit! They must have seen us! Hurry let's get out of here!" Without waiting for the girl to come with her Luna grabbed her hand and jumped off the building. There was a building nearby and even though it was farther away than the others Luna was sure they could nail it. Even if they had to ride down the wall with a spinning wall ride.

Luna loved the wind as it went through her hair. With the lights of the nearby building she looked almost angelic with her hair flowing behind her and her skin aglow. Xenneth looked angelic as well. They would be quite a site if anyone looked upon them in the air.

Once they would land, Luna would drag Xen back into the alleyway so they could hide their AT's. Her plan was to get into the crowd and look natural rather than try to outrun the police with AT's.

Ugh! The young woman’s smile was making it hard for Xenneth to breathe! It’s either she had a plan or he actually was good entertainment.

Xenneth had often banished the thought that he was good company for any woman unless it was a younger sister. His standards were next to non-existent, and his confidence was nothing larger of that comparison. He twisted his lips, pursing them as much as he could until their pink smooth form became near wrinkly. She was making him very uncomfortable to this points; a slight tilt of his body added pressure to his powered skates making him slide slightly to his right opposing to her direction. He did not mean to offend, but her feminine charm was like an opposing force to his little body.

There was a cry through the city; a loud siren perhaps?

"Oh shit! They must have seen us! Hurry let's get out of here!" Xenneth’s spine shivered as he heard the young woman explain. The sirens were bad enough, but now there was the thought of being caught along with the possibility of Auntie Chiasa actually knowing about this? He swallowed so heavily that he swore he could choke at that moment and die. Call it his suicide capsule! Xenneth had agreed and even peered his head over the side of the building as a means to search for an escape route. He almost lost his nerve. Being in a chase was different from simply riding his high-powered skates happily without a care in the world.

“R-right, b-but...” he begun one moment, and the next, his throat felt a rush of air as if suddenly he was thrust forth. A jerking motion of his arm, the scenery before him changing, and the rush of wind that was coming toward him all in that instant had come to Xenneth’s sense. It was either he was going on a rollercoaster ride taken by surprise or he was flying off the building. Suddenly looking to his hand that was grasped by the young woman’s and her flailing air, it was obvious as the next moment he had been coursed into his number one instinct at times like this.

“Nyaaaaaaaa!” he had screamed.

His Air Trek had caught the wind as the wheels whirled about wildly. The sparkling colors of the light up shoes had shone brightly as he went into a free fall. It was as if a meteor was traveling right down to the very streets of San Francisco, and instead of a whistle, it was a girlish scream of a pre-teen Asian kid whose voice had seemed like it had not cracked from puberty yet. He would have admired the young woman’s appearance more if he suddenly had not been snatched from the rooftop, and if anything, this would’ve been a little more fun.

As he touched down with the young woman, he was still jerked about. His mind could not simply keep up with the plan of the young woman, but seeing her remove and conceal her Air-Trek had made him suddenly catch on and think likewise. A light bulb, a late one, could have lit up just him suddenly coming up with that epiphany of an idea: hide the Air-Trek quickly enough and blend in! He the young violet haired boy did not know why he never thought of that before when it came to riding his Air-Trek in secrecy. He complied quickly with Luna before he had followed her with no questions asked. She had not led him wrong so far.

However, he had to admit...this was a little far from home...

“U-umm, Luna-sa...!” he smacked his lips and rolled his eyes directed to his formal tongue. It was hard to break away from it when he was so panicked, “Ms. Luna,” he emphasized his correction, “Where are we going exactly? We can’t keep walking around here.” he spoke lowly. At the very least, he was afraid that the police would recognize him. It would not be a good look for them to get in touch with the Hikari Household and do anything to shame the business that his family ran all because of him.

He suddenly started to regret tonight’s outing.

"Then I’ll be like the stardust."

Aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know it so it goes on flying anyway

Once her At's were concealed in her hobo bag she began to drag the girl with her on the street. She went on the main street and it looked as if an older sister were guiding her younger sister home for the night. They looked innocent. The whistle of the siren got closer and closer. Luna stayed calm as the police car passed them by without much of a glance. After all the police were searching for hooligans with illegal AT's not two younger girls.

“Where are we going exactly? We can’t keep walking around here.” The girl said. Luna paused for a moment. Where were they going? She really needed to think ahead more, not just live in the moment.

"We could go to my place. I mean, we could get ourselves cleaned up. Those rooftops are freaking dirtier than all hell. By the way, can I call you Xenny? It's just super cute!" the girl said before hugging Xen. She was such a cute girl. That sweet little voice just brought out the older sister in Luna.

Who could ever say no to that innocent girlish face?

"I’ll run through this world;”
“This world of cradling winds and sparkling lights!"

The sounds of the sirens as the cars past made his heart race!

However, by the time the breeze swept with the cars and the red and blue hues had begun to fade into the distance before turning the corner, it was like a relief. His heart beat became slower, slower...not too slow. He was still a little excited as he could look behind him now and see just how the towering building was behind him. He swallowed realizing just how high he was, sometimes still surprised how high he went in comparison to wearing a pair of roller skates and cutting through some park. He had almost drifted off in thought as Luna paused and was thinking.

"We could go to my place.” Xenneth’s neck could have broken just by how fast he turned to look at her hearing the suggestion, “I mean, we could get ourselves cleaned up. Those rooftops are freaking dirtier than all hell. By the way, can I call you Xenny? It's just super cute!"

“U-uh...y-yeah, I-I guess.” an answer to both the suggested nickname and the house.

His face would have caught fire by now just by being this young woman. It had only been a short time since he been with her, and already he had broken some taboos that “Good boys” did not do: he seemed to had been led to run from the police with the young woman, suggested to go to her house as a hideout in the middle of the night a little past twelve, not to mention even coming out this late...but then again that one was on him. She had not done anything wrong, if anything, she had seemed to be very sweet in his opinion.

“She may be a stranger, but she’s not all that bad.” Xenneth thought, “It would not hurt to have friends in America, especially one who know about Air Trek too.”

Xenneth had given a glance to the bag she carried, her Air Trek hobbled away in the bag while his own was cuddled into bulk in his backpack he carried on him that night. There was barely any space for them, but at least it crossed his mind how to store things now thanks to her help; if anything he could think in his mind that he owed her a great deal, and now she was offering him some hospitality and a chance to get clean? He wanted to decline, but one look at what the high altitude of mist and rocky top of the buildings had done a number on his white clothes. People would think he was some kind of “dirty hippy girl” with how the streaks of dirt wrapped around his bell bottom pants and open shirt.

“T-Thank you for the offer, Ms. Luna. So, you live around here?” he asked in a more relaxed voice, “You never mentioned that.” he reminded seeing the police cut their conversation short moments ago. He was sure he was trying to tell her something important, but was that it?

Yes, where she lived! That’s what he was trying to ask, given the circumstances.

"Then I’ll be like the stardust."

Aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know it so it goes on flying anyway

Luna led the girl along towards her home. Rohas was most likely sleeping by now or was out using his AT's as well. Either way she'd have the house to herself. She was excited to bring such a cute girl home. Maybe the girl would want to join Dai Mugen? She was good with AT's, but then again, dainty girls like Xenny may not do well on a team. She seemed fragile and Luna would want to protect such a girl.

The house was actually pretty close to here Luna began to speak to the girl. "Yeah it's pretty close. I normally don't stray too far away from it this late at night. I just tend to like staying by my teams' hideout is all," she said with a giggle.

She continued leading Xenneth towards her house. It was more of a building and was rather large. There were so many rooms on the inside made for all the different team members, there was even a room for riders to nab parts for themselves. Though Luna was usually the one to build up AT's for everyone, seeing as how she was a tuner, and not just any tuner. She was the pledge queen. Probably the best tuner in the world.

Smirking slightly at the thought of her being the best the woman unlocked the door with a key that was under the door mat. She then led the younger girl inside the house. "Okay so most of the members are spread out and probably riding around tonight, so we'll have the house to ourselves. I can lead you to the bathroom so you can wash yourself up hun." Without waiting for a reply the woman grabbed the girl a towel and led her to the bathroom.

She opened the door for her and said, "hee hee, have fun! I'll join you later cutie!" She then took off down to her room to put her AT's away, leaving the other female to go take a bath.

"I’ll run through this world;”
“This world of cradling winds and sparkling lights!"

Maybe he should not ask. Maybe he should not think about it. However, Xenneth couldn’t help but to utter...

“A team?”

The young boy was still innocent. He had barely taken a step into the world of Air Trek. As far as he knew, there was the pleasure of a sweeping breeze through his hair, his racing heart, and the gentle song of his pair of skates. There were high altitudes, and streets that were lower beneath his feet than ever before. His blue eyes had gazed high to a warm blue moon these nights as if he could brag to it that he was getting closer every night. He kept flying, kept flying, and the sound of his skates kept singing a sweet song.

That’s all he knew of the world of Storm Riding, and anymore would probably steal away his innocent little thoughts, so he calmed the urge to ask anymore.

The shadow that was cast upon him was enough to stop him from asking questions anyway. One glance at the tall building that was before him he gave a double take to between it and the young woman. Perhaps they had the wrong address? He wanted to ask, but before he could, she had further led the way towards the tall, intimidating structure only making Xenneth feel more insecure than usual. He was not use to being around such large and formal places; he felt like a child in poverty in the presence of the large building. Xenneth had turned a blind eye, only for a moment realizing she was taking the key from under the mat.

It was rude to creep up on someone’s secrets after all.

With the slide of the tumblers, the door was unlocked. Xenneth knew the sound like a song as he thought about locking and unlocking the doors of the “Tokyo Bloom” Flower shop every morning, via the front door of their house. The violet haired boy followed closely behind the young woman, his temptation to ask questions was still silenced by his fears as he simply glanced around the entrance as if it was the most astonishing room in the house.

"Okay so most of the members are spread out and probably riding around tonight, so we'll have the house to ourselves. I can lead you to the bathroom so you can wash yourself up hun."

“W-w-wait! Ther-...Uh...”

His voice had fallen on deaf ears, or at least that’s what the young woman made it look like. Before his gentle voice could reach her, she was already speeding down the hall with a towel leaving him to stare at her. She sure was pretty; thoughts he felt extra guilty about seeing that she had the wrong impression of him. Did she think he was some sort of young lesbian? It would figure since a woman that attractive would never be looking at him the way she was now; no one would, he was too pathetic as a young man.

The young boy had followed behind her, arms wrapped and cuffing one another with tender hands. Xenneth was nervous taking his clothes off in someone else’s house. He could think of very few times he had ever done it before. Family? Yes! Friends? No! Who was he to say that this young woman was actually a friend? She was still some stranger he met on the streets. Swallowing, nervously reinforcing his fears, he stepped lightly into the bathroom and stood in such a shy and reserved manner as he looked towards the young woman behind him.

"hee hee, have fun! I'll join you later cutie!"

“W-wait! What?!”

Before he could say anything more, she was gone once again. She was a professional escape artist when it came to conversation obviously! The young boy was left in the bathroom with a piping steam tickling his nose and his cheeks rosy red once more. She had gone through so much trouble, and it would be rude not to take her on her offer, but taking a bath with a girl who had the impression he was young effeminate chum was not very comforting. It was then, the young boy concocted a brilliant plan that shown with a wrinkly smile on his face.

“Five minutes!” he said lowly as it echoed through the bathroom, “I’ll just take a quick five minute bath before she gets here! Then I can make a quick exit!”

With all that aside, Xenneth loved baths. If anything, with each article of clothing being pelted away, he could feel comforted by the thought of bathing in the warm waters. Bubbles? Sweet scents! Lovely atmosphere! The women’s bathrooms were always the best when it came to relaxing baths and Xenneth could not help but to look on the bright side, reminiscing of his auntie Chezza’s own bath. She had such a beautiful Chinese themed bathroom with Sakura colors and scents all around. There was even a low dim light fixture that played patterns of the falling petals like shadows.

It was absolutely to die for!

Just thinking about it as his body soaked into the warm bath made him drift off into a gentle sleep. Two minutes became four, four became eight, and soon enough, the violet haired boy lost track of time as he relaxed in the bath letting his worries drift away into the steamy atmosphere.

"Then I’ll be like the stardust."

Aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know it so it goes on flying anyway

Luna giggled lightly as she put her AT's away in her room. That Xen girl was quite the looker, she wanted to know her secret. How could she have such beautiful hair and skin? Did she have some secret in the bathroom? Did she lather herself up in lots of suds to get her skin so soft? Did she allow the conditioner to stay in her hair for an hour? How did that girl do it! Luna had to know!

For a moment Luna stopped and tapped her chin. The girl sure was quiet, she'd only ever spoke when she stuttered or when she was embarassed. Luna paused and blushed in embarrassment. She really hadn't let the girl get a real sentence in. The Ring Road user had just kept chattering away... Luna felt kind of bad, but she'd been so happy to meet another girl who had AT's. She'd never really met one before.

The guys on her team and a few other guys like Zeke were all she knew. Most girls just weren't into Air Treks. Especially seeing as how they were banned. Luna sighed. She would start to be a little more calm and try to get to know the girl before she started chattering away again. "I know! I'll just act calm in the bath and then she can talk! After she gets over her shyness of course," Luna said as she grabbed a pink fluffy towel and headed to the bathroom.

She opened the door to see the young woman completely submerged in the water, except for her head which lay on the back of the tub where she seemed to be asleep. Luna giggled as she quickly pulled her clothing off. It had been too long since she'd had a bath with one of her friends, or even her nieces. Yes, Xenny was more like a little sister or even a niece than anything. She was just so cute! She seemed fragile and innocent, something a girl like Luna would have to protect.

The AT rider had never been shy about her body. She'd always, well, been on the more, loose side with men. She liked being naked, she had no problem with it, so why should she be shy around another girl? She thought this as she pulled her panties down and got into the warm water. They were lucky they had such a big bath, Luna had been dying to bathe with someone for a long time. At the moment she had no boyfriend to keep her company and very few female friends, so taking a relaxing bath with someone was out of the picture... at least until now.

"Ooh, you like the water super hot!" Luna said over the steam and hot water. The steam pretty much covered the other woman's body, that was good, maybe she'd be less shy. "Uwaaaah, I just love bathing, it's so calm and relaxing. If you like we have some tonics that we can pour in to help with aches. I'm sure you'd need some, I know I do after a hard ride." The older woman then began to observe the other's facial reactions.

"I’ll run through this world;”
“This world of cradling winds and sparkling lights!"

He had drifted off into a gentle sleep; one of the most he had in years.

Xenneth was in someone else’s houses, in someone else’s bathroom, and in someone else’s tub; despite all this, he did not feel discomfort. The hot and steamy water had blinded him from his usual fears and insecurities, and every pore of his skin could have been a pleasure as sinful as the “deed” between two bodies of attraction. He could only imagine and exaggerate: after all, Xenneth was as pure as innocent as the female figure people mistaken him for. With eyes closed, the waters around him was still even as his chest risen and fallen while submerged. He had not even noticed, at the last moment, that there were ripples that traveled across the large bath that disrupted this flow until the last minute.

“Hmm?~” his pursed lips let a slight groggy muse come from them. One eye opening to look through the piping hot steam as it was slightly blurred from Xenneth’ rest tried to pierce the fog. It was all hazy, like a dream, so he interpreted as one. His relaxed body literally let down all defenses, eased all tensions, and took away from all his idealisms about people around him. The soothing bath was just that good; in mere minutes of soaking in the hot liquid, his political views went from “democratic” to just “f--- em!” A soak just made the world so insignificant.

"Ooh, you like the water super hot!" Xenneth’s smiled coyly as he was still half lost in the mind numbing bath’s influence. "Uwaaaah, I just love bathing, it's so calm and relaxing. If you like we have some tonics that we can pour in to help with aches. I'm sure you'd need some, I know I do after a hard ride."

“Mmm! I don't mind at all!~” he sung like a fiendish canary tone in his innocent voice, “I like it to be smooth and hot like that. My Auntie Chiasa’s bath is a Whirlpool. It heats soooo good, and the bubble bath feature makes the water bubble up with a tonic massage everywhere, inclu-”

*SPLASH!*

Wait...where was he? Whose bath was this? Was he talking to SOMEONE ELSE in the tub?!

These things quickly rushed through Xenneth’s mind as he remembered everything! Just as quickly he cut himself off and then pulled his body back sitting up slightly as he covered his upper body with crossed arms and then dipped it low in the bath waters to cover his shame. His face was now rosy red in the deepest of shade, but not from the bath’s heat. “W-wait a minute!” he had cried, “H-how long have I been in here?!” he asked as he tried to recuperate and remember the plan he had in his mind.

Five minutes! Five minutes! Five minutes did not fly by like five seconds!

He now looked through a hazy fog of steam that coveted the young woman’s unmentionables as he made a positive I.D. She looked different with herself undressed. Heck, most people did! However, in this position, he dared to not try to picture those buxom breasts that were snuggled in her outfit to be free beyond the steam and just what was beyond those luscious curves that he followed on the way to this house. The thoughts that he noticed and was trying to crack the code of his imagination already made him feel like a pervert. Pressing his lips together and turning a cheek to the woman to not look upon her body, to resist his curiosity, he had tried to play it natural and cool.

She still thought he was a woman, right? Maybe he could try to escape the bath with some decency!

"Then I’ll be like the stardust."

So she was less shy now. That was good. Luna was about ready to get up and grab some of the tonics to help their aches when she began to panic. Her face turned to a rosy pink that just made Luna want to glomp her in the tub. She was so adorable!

Luna turned towards her as the girl covered herself up better. The blonde pouted. "Oh come on Xen, even if you don't have big boobs you don't have to hide them! You should be proud! You have the prettiest face I've ever seen!"

Taking a moment to think as she smiled at the girl she saw the other girl turn her cheek with her lips pressed together. It was so cute... Luna was being overwhelmed with cuteness now. She couldn't help it! Her body had a mind of it's own. She had more speed than Xenneth did and she was able to easily rush towards her and put her arms around the smaller girl into a tight hug. Her large breasts pressed into Xen's... flat one? That wasn't right.

Luna pushed away just enough to see that Xen had none. Did she happen to have breast cancer and had to have a surgery to remove them? No the skin was flawless... there was only one other explanation. Luna wasn't shy, but she was definitely shocked. She looked down at the water to see... a sight she didn't expect to see at all. It was hard to see in the soapy water and the steam but it was there none the less. It wasn't like Xen was small or anything...

The Pledge Queen was still hugging Xen despite all this, probably too shocked to move off of he- him. He was a boy. No wonder why he had looked as if his brain would explode when she got into the tub. A lot of things made sense now and she'd regretted being so pushy. "I-I'm sorry... I didn't know..." she said with a blush. It wasn't often that the woman was able to blush either.

"Oh come on Xen, even if you don't have big boobs you don't have to hide them! You should be proud! You have the prettiest face I've ever seen!"

“N-no thank you, “ the little boy etched to the edge of the bath as he tried to distance himself towards the young woman, “I-I think I-meeeep!”

He had let out a squeak, a loud squeak! It was because he felt something unpleasant, but soft! Wet, but warm! It was familiar like pillows, but alien as if it was fleshy and soft and filled like it had some affection to it. The young boy had been stunned, paralyzed as he tried to guess in his mind what could possibly be in this warm piping bath with such a feeling; such a sensation! All he could come up with was s type of wet loofa. However, he only guessed, and it was his body turning and gazing to the close expression the young woman had on his face that he knew that changes decreased.

“I hope there is a loofa between us,” the violet haired boy hoped in silent prayer, “Both of them! Loofas...I hope!”

However, his hopes were dashed! One look at the young woman’s face and his eyes going downward, he could see those large bosoms he noticed earlier now up close and personal as they pressed into his chest. His cheeks had burst into a red so deep that it could have seemed like he was bleeding at the cheeks, his blood becoming short and vision hazy as if any moment he could faint. He had simply gazed at the young woman, expecting a shriek, a scream, or even a cry for help seeing it was familiar to girls who mistaken his gender before. It was a funny story when a girl dragged him into a lingerie department for his opinion on something, but this was on a whole different scale!

"I-I'm sorry... I didn't know..."

Xenneth swallowed....deeply...

“T-t-that’s okay...” he said speaking to his chest and her breasts that seemed to be glued together with the thickness of the awkward moment, “I-I-I mean..th-this isn’t okay! N-not that I don’t like it...I-I mean I d-don’t mean to enjoy it...but I...”

He paused in his panic, “I-I...Blub! Blub! Blubbba!”

His body had sunk under and his mouth and nose were blowing bubbles as Xenneth was drawing near faint from the moment. Obviously, the uneasiness of the situation had dried him all of the sweat that the hot soothing bath could not finish. It seemed at this point, he could possibly die from embarrassment...literally!

Luna looked back at the boy in shock. He'd gone under the water now, his face was definitely red. No wonder he'd been so shy in the bathtub. He was male and totally uncomfortable. Now he fainted? "Shit!" Luna yelled as she pulled the boy's beautiful face out of the water. She held his body close to hers so she could make sure his mouth was facing down slightly so he could spit any water he'd gotten in his mouth out.

"G-gah! Xenny, wake up! It's just a naked body is all! Nothing to be embarrassed about, honest!" she told him worriedly as she silently prayed that he'd be all right. He hadn't gone under the water for more than a few moments, so she didn't see the need for mouth to mouth.

She really hoped that nobody else was in the house. She wouldn't want one of the guys to come running into the bathroom and seeing her naked, cradling a boy who looked like a girl in her bosom as she tried to make sure he didn't drown himself. This was a very compromising position. She'd definitely have a story to tell after tonight.

"Xen, you really need to calm down okay? Just breathe... breathe deeply and think about the warm water okay?"

Xenneth was barely conscious as he was pulled from the water.

That feeling that you had when you were rudely awakened and needed more sleep and talking out your butt? Yeah, Xenneth had been speaking that way as he mumbled after being pulled from the depths. The young woman was crying out while his vision was blurry from the soak of water and his mouth dripping with some that was expelled from his chest from nearly drowning. The situation was overwhelming at best, but what was not for Xenneth? Trying to pull himself together, urgent as he tried to breathe after spitting out water with a gasp, he could hear the voice of the young woman faintly.

”Xenny, wake up! It's just a naked body...”

He could barely hear everything in his weak state. However, he knew it was more than that! The young woman missed the whole equation that was foggy in his mind. There was not just naked body, but two naked bodies! They were not just naked bodies, but a naked boy and girl’s body! He had read too many stories and had too little experiences to not get a mixture between romantic nostalgia and pure uncomfortable sexual terror that he was in right now!

Xenneth was the good boy!

He did not do things like hang out by skipping class, have random drunk sex, sneak outside of the house during night fall, and take baths with random women; however, it seemed he had violated half that list within a year simple. All this was too much to begin with from sneaking out his house and Rosetta covering for him, with nearly as instinct and enthusiasm that was questionable as she seemed to have her reasons that were discernible. Within moments, the violet haired boy was looking at Luna’s face as she was speaking to him once again. His vision was still blurry and his eyes were wandering trying to regain composure.

"Xen, you really need to calm down okay? Just breathe... breathe deeply and think about the warm water okay?"

His voice was weak and his body was trying to recover strength as he looked about. “Breathe...think...water...” His voice trailing off as he tried to follow her advice. His vision traveled to Luna’s face and then to her hands and his slumping shoulders. He kept trying to grasp what was around him and calm himself, anything to escape the discomfort from the previous situation. He saw lovely curtains, nice porcelain, felt nice warmth of steam, and as he could see Luna’s eyes...his vision traveled down until...

Oooh! Look! Two big mountains and a valley!

“Meeep!” Xenneth had gasped as he had slipped from Luna’s grasp. It was easy after all; they were both wet! His long dripping violet hair had fallen over his shoulders and his arms wrapped around his body. His back had went to hers and his legs had as he was upon his knees and sitting in the path, the two limbs closed tighter than two locked double doors to hide his “shame,” his steadily growing shame from the mixture of tension and impure thoughts as he tried to not think on those little perverse romance novels that left him with a curse now.

“I-I’m sorry!” the violet haired boy had said with his squeaky voice, “I’m just...n-not use to this sort of thing, honest!” he had said showing his mild discomfort as he hugged himself with his back facing the young woman.

He did not care what her opinion was on the matter; this was so embarrassing!

"Then I’ll be like the stardust."
